Day by day....
I can't tell you how good it feels to shrink back. I know that may sound odd because in our society we're always looking for the biggest, most amazing, most impressive things around us. Part of what makes us uniquely American is the way that our society biggers and biggers.
I spent many years getting bigger and bigger and bigger. It feels good to pull back to be smaller but more mindful. It feels good to be deliberate. It feels good to not be hurried or frenzied.
The only way to truly enjoy art and handmade work is with time and continual review.
