We have now passed our 2 year anniversary here at Maine Micro Artisans! We have moved our Bangor location from the Bangor Mall to Downtown Bangor on Washington street, we've closed our Gorham location and opened our beautiful South Portland store in Maine Mall. We've added dozens of creative, unique makers to our organization and have produced artisan festivals and night markets with attendance in the thousands. We've hosted classes taught by talented artisans. We've been featured on multiple local television and radio programs and are planning even more for 2025!
We have always been focused on inclusion and to help level the playing field for artisans all over the state we've made a few changes to our contract, starting in September 2024. Highlights:

We've removed the $35 monthly fee to make it easier for artisans who don't have a high volume of sales to participate.

We've increased our commission from 20% to 33% to cover our increased costs and offset the monthly fee removal.

We've added a $100 one-time fee for new artisans to help cover the cost of bringing them into the community.
We are planning big things for 2025 - artisan fairs and festivals across the state, more night markets, more classes, more marketing and promotion options for makers - more opportunity for everyone. Come join us and be part of the excitement!
