Maker Opportunity - L/A Balloon Festival

Join Maine Micro Artisans as we host the craft vendors for the 2024 Lewiston/Auburn Balloon Festival!

As you may know the Great Falls Balloon Festival for this year was cancelled. The organization who usually produces the festival was unable to meet the demands this year. The cities of Lewiston and Auburn are now working diligently to put on a similar show this August! I am honored and excited to have the joy of presenting/sponsoring the maker portion of this event. We don't know if this will be recurring, so we'll just focus on this year for now.

This event draws over 100,000 people to the L/A area annually. The attendance hovers at around 17,000 each day in the park itself. We will line the walking path of the Simard-Payne Memorial Parkway. I can take 100 vendors each day. You do not need to commit to multiple days. You do need to commit to being in the space no later than noon. We'd really prefer folks be in place by 10am but I also understand that makes for a very long day as you'll need to remain in your space until 8pm.

Anyone arriving after noon will not be permitted to set up. Breaking down early will result in a ban on future event participation.

This is an outdoor event! Spaces are 10'x10' and do not have access to power. Tables and chairs are not provided. Previously these spaces were $500 for the event! We can reduce this cost to $65 daily. That's an enormous reduction and as low as we can go and cover the insurance needs.
